European based business services company with strong support from Head Office is looking to continue their current growth in Japan by appointing a Senior Payroll Manager.

Ideally, you will have 3-5 years of payroll experience and enjoy the challenge of managing a small payroll team. You will also play a key part in future hires within your team.

Those with Sharoshi certification are also encouraged to apply for this role.

A strong understanding of the full payroll cycle including but not limited to the following areas are important;

• Statutory annual report filing
• Up to date knowledge of relevant withholdings and deductions
• Year-end (Nenmatsu chosei) experience
• Social Insurance enrollment and cancellation experience

Your ability to both deliver accurate work and monitor the work of your small team will be considered a highly valuable part of your job. Native level Japanese and strong English will be necessary for this role.
