Accounting and Taxation

• Establishment of the accounting operation flow
• Monthly, quarterly, annual closing, consolidated closing operations (including overseas subsidiaries)
• Preparation of tax returns (tax returns are outsourced to a consulting tax accountant’s office)
• Preparation of legal disclosure documents
• Accounts receivable/payable
• Accounts payable management

Finance

• Cash management
• Financial institution support (Banks)

Budgeting

• Preventive management including budget formulation and analysis
• Organizing accounting issues/relevant data/coordination and collaboration with each business unit
• Formulation of business plans and mid-term management plans and PDCA (plan-do-check-act)

IPO Preparation

• Internal Control Support
• Internal Audit Support
• Supporting Audit firms

Depending on the experience we may also invite you to help with the following:

• Team management and task execution in legal/general affairs

Candidate Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in accounting (including account closing) at a listed company
• Experience in preparing securities reports, semi-annual reports, and financial statements
• Experience in management of an accounting department
• Qualified bookkeeper level 2 or above
• English / Japanese: Business level

Desired Qualifications:

• Qualified Certified Public Accountant or Certified Tax Accountant (USCPA or Japan CPA and/or Japanese Tax Accountant /Zeirishi)
• Experience in IPO preparation
