Position: Accounting Manager
Job Overview: The primary aim of the role is to provide robust support to the financial accounting division, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This involves adherence to legal obligations such as annual audits and various tax regulations, both direct and indirect. The role also demands strict compliance with global accounting policies, US GAAP, SOX, and local GAAP standards.
Role Summary: This pivotal role requires an adept Financial Accounting Manager to uphold the financial health of the organization. Responsibilities include:
1. Financial Reporting and Compliance:
· Oversee Shared Service teams (outsourced) to ensure compliant financial closure per stipulated deadlines and processes from global finance policies and US GAAP/SOX regulations.
· Offer directional guidance to Shared Service teams and supervise the completion of financial closes within monthly/quarterly/yearly timelines.
· Present detailed variance analysis using bridge and Audit Variance templates during closing.
· Submit SEC reporting templates upon corporate request.
· Collaborate with related parties to address intercompany variances.
· Monthly updates on Balance Sheet flow via Global Tax application for tax planning review.
· Liaison with Global Tax team for tax account roll forward schedules and tax entries.
· Work closely with shared services team on inventory aging analysis and provision.
· Coordinate quarterly fixed assets impairment analysis to manage associated risks.
2. Accounts Payable and Receivable Management:
· Oversee Accounts Payable function, including training/mentoring of outsourced vendor responsible for AP processing.
· Training and support of staff in processing purchase orders.
· Review, update, and complete vendor new/change requests.
· Manage Accounts Receivable function, conduct aging analysis, ensure accurate cash application, recommend bad debt provision if required.
3. Statutory Compliance:
· Complete audit and tax schedules for external audit and tax agents.
· Address audit and tax queries.
· Submission of VAT and withholding tax returns, and handling related matters.
· Fulfill Bureau of Statistics surveys as required.
Job Qualifications:
· Degree in finance or accounting (advanced degree preferred).
· Accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA.
· Proficient in US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Requirements:
· A minimum of 10+ years’ accounting and administrative experience with full financial account management, including tax and deferred tax aspects.

· Proficiency in SAP, Hyperion, Essbase, and Lucernex.
· Skilled in correlating business processes with financial data.

· In-depth technical knowledge of ERP/SAP environment, Hyperion, Essbase, and Lucernex.
