CFO Full Time

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our finance department and contribute to our company’s continued success and growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, leadership, and strategy execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide executive leadership for the finance and accounting team.

Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, financial forecasting, risk management, and auditing.

Develop and implement financial strategies to drive company growth and profitability.

Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, including Japanese financial reporting standards (J-GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Cultivate relationships with banks, investors, and other financial stakeholders to ensure liquidity and access to capital.

Lead the preparation of annual reports and financial statements, ensuring accuracy and transparency.

Work closely with the CEO and other senior executives to identify strategic opportunities and assess financial viability.

Monitor financial performance and ensure efficient resource allocation.

Advise on cost reduction and revenue enhancement strategies.

Oversee the management of financial risks and ensure proper controls are in place.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. An advanced degree such as an MBA or CPA certification is highly desirable.

Minimum of 15 years of experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a CFO or similar executive-level position.

Proficiency in Japanese and English, both written and spoken.

Strong knowledge of Japanese financial regulations, accounting practices, and tax laws.

Experience with international finance and working in a global business environment.

Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage and mentor teams.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with strategic thinking.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
