HR Payroll Analyst Full Time

This role primarily involves implementing a global HRIS and Time & Attendance system, working closely with local HR teams, regional/global stakeholders, and external vendors. It includes defining and developing efficient payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and integration with other processes and budgets, and regularly updating these processes in line with new policies or regulatory changes. The position also entails maintaining HRIS systems and providing reports in collaboration with the regional HR and finance teams. As part of the Japan Compensation & Benefits team, the role functions as an individual contributor.
The ideal candidate for this role should have excellent communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders, experience in leading HR system roll-outs with cross-functional teams, and 5 to 10 years of experience in Japan payroll and social insurance operations. Proficiency in Excel for data processing and analysis, and fluency in both Japanese and business-level English (verbal and written) are essential. Preferred qualifications include strong problem-solving skills, a proactive and growth-oriented mindset, the ability to foster teamwork and collaboration, experience in replacing payroll/Time & Attendance systems, familiarity with global HRIS systems such as Oracle or Workday, and project management skills.
