Job Title: Assistant Director of Finance

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting and Month-End Coordination: Oversee and manage the month-end process, ensuring accurate preparation of financial statements, accruals, journals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
2. Timely Stakeholder Reporting: Guarantee the completion and prompt delivery of monthly financial reports to stakeholders, including corporate and ownership entities.
3. Forecasting and Labor Management: Develop and submit bi-weekly financial forecasts. Lead bi-weekly labor meetings to review and adjust workforce planning.
4. Tax Management: Coordinate tax reconciliation processes and collaborate closely with tax consultants to manage tax reporting and payments.
5. Compliance Assurance: Ensure strict adherence to all relevant local and corporate policies and procedures without exceptions.
6. Payroll and Journal Oversight: Review monthly payroll details and authorize all journal entries, maintaining high accuracy and compliance.
7. Inventory and Audit Facilitation: Manage the coordination of equipment inventory and oversee both internal and external audit activities.
8. Budget Assistance: Support the Director of Finance in budget preparation, offering insights and analysis.
9. Project and Team Leadership: Plan, organize, lead, and control finance department projects and activities, ensuring effective management and successful outcomes.
10. Team Supervision and Support: Supervise daily operations of the finance team, providing guidance and support as needed.
11. Internal Communication: Conduct monthly department meetings to foster effective communication, address team issues, and ensure resolution.
12. Staff Training and Development: Lead training initiatives, develop, and motivate staff to achieve high performance. Prepare and implement staff review and development plans.
